We’re thrilled to be bringing back our Family Fun Fair—a day all about connection, laughter, and community spirit.

📅 When: Saturday, September 6th at 11:00am – 2:00pm
📍 Where: Lynn Valley Village Plaza

We’re reaching out to you, our neighbours and community members, because this event only shines when we create it together.

🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ Ways you can pitch in:
• Helping with banner, canopy and games set-up at 10:00 – 10:45am
• Welcoming guests at the entrance
• Assisting with games and activities – yes, you can play too!
• Lending a hand with food and refreshment tables
• General support to keep the fun flowing
• Take down at 2:15 – 2:55pm
What’s in it for you (besides the joy of community)?

Enjoy FREE family fun and meet the people in your Lynn Valley neighbourhood!

Families are invited to attend this outdoor event at Lynn Valley Plaza on September 6th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM where you can enjoy free games and activities!

Completed 50 days of reading for the Summer Reading Club? Come and celebrate your achievement at the library with a special medal presentation at noon!

TIPS FOR A GREAT TIME

*Walking. Rolling, Biking. Take transit to the event!
*Bring your water bottle, wear a hat and put on sunscreen.
*Take lots of pictures and post them using the hashtag #LVFFF25 so we’ll be able to find them and share them on our Facebook page!

EXTENDED TO OCT. 1ST! Bookmark Design Contest

There’s still a chance to have your creation in books around Lynn Valley!

Create a bookmark with what you love the most about Lynn Valley.

Use crayons, paint, pastels and your imagination!

Winning designs will be distributed at the library.

How to enter:

  • Bookmark design should be 21x9cm in dimension (8×3.5 inches)
  • Scan and email your entry to lynnvalleyca@gmail.com or
  • Put it in an envelope and drop it off at 3171 Mountain Highway on or before OCTOBER 1ST, 2023

Remember to include your name, age, and a way to reach you.

It’s the 2nd Annual Lynn Valley Family Fun Fair!

Come to Lynn Valley Elementary Field Saturday, September 16th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM where you and your family can enjoy free entertainment including games, dunk tank, face painting, plus musical performances. Enjoy lots of FREE family fun and meet the people in your Lynn Valley neighbourhood!

Save room for lunch as the Firefighters Charitable Foundations will be having a BBQ by donation!

This event will occur rain or shine!
