Thanks to your generosity, Lynn Valley Community Association was able to contribute $9,295.00 in support of the emergency relief campaign for the displaced seniors.
This amount was added to the DNV Fire Fighters Charity fundraising campaign to bring the total to $34,925.00 to support the forty-one seniors displaced by the tragic fire at the Silverlynn Apartment complex.
The DNV Firefighters worked closely with North Shore Emergency Management and Family Sevices of the North Shore so that most of the displaced seniors are now transitioning into long-term housing and, because or your help, are getting a helping hand as they rebuild their lives.
It’s truly amazing what we can do as a community when we come together. Thank you to all of you that contributed to this inititiative.
