Each year we come together – at malls, grocery stores, schools and workplaces – to receive our poppies and support our veterans.
We remember, we honour, and we help.
The Royal Canadian Legion, Lynn Valley Branch #114 is reaching out to you and other community-minded individuals to help them continue their commitment to our local veterans through the fall poppy drive because the manner in which they raise money is impacted significantly this year.
Their public presence will be lessened, and the Cadets and Scouts that volunteer handing out poppies in our community won’t be able to this year.
The Branch Poppy Committee has been working tirelessly since the beginning of the summer to ensure the success of the 2020 Poppy Campaign while safeguarding the health and well being of their Members and Taggers during the Covid19 pandemic.
