2022 Annual Park Project

Saturday, April 9, 2022 | 9:00 am to noon

The Lynn Valley Community Association and Lynn Valley Seniors Association are working together with DNV Parks on the Lynn Valley Park Project and we need YOU!

We are thrilled to once again have our Annual Park Project where we gather together to restore and maintain our beautiful parks in our community! This year’s community project is the LV LINK starting at the Arborlynn Drive Trail Head and working towards the foot bridge. We will meet at 9:00 AM at the Arborlynn Drive Trail Head.  Park on Arborlynn Drive or just around the corner on Avonlynn Crescent.

The focus of this community event will be on restoring a section of the park by removing invasive plants such as ivy, cleaning litter and debris, and anything else that needs to be done with the support of the DNV Parks staff.

Join us for this fun and productive day! Come for all or part!

Saturday, April 9th from 9:00 AM to Noon

We have work for every level of physical ability so all ages and stages are welcome. Dress for the weather, as this is a rain-or-shine event! Sturdy boots or shoes, working clothes and gloves are recommended. If we are blessed with sunshine, remember the hats and sunscreen.

*Please bring your own snacks and water bottle.

IMPORTANT! The Parks staff ask everyone who plans to attend to EMAIL Brad Parrish at parrishb@dnv.org   A Volunteer form will then be sent to you to complete prior to the event.  You can also join Meetup at this link: District of North Van – Natural Parkland Volunteer Team to get additional information and updates.
